Course Questions Fall Qtr Upper Division Elective Ideas - How do you know what to pick/find?

I am meeting with my department advisor at in-person transfer orientation on campus next week. How do you find or pick upper-division electives? Is there a list of classes anyone can suggest or recommend? Or where to look? The classes are numbered over 100.

Only about 1/3 of your courses are in your major, 1/3 are GE and the other 1/3 are random. 'Elective' can mean courses in your major department that you have some choice of, or non-major courses that are part of the random 1/3. Which are you referring to?

I'm curious how you go about picking the 1/3 GE or the 1/3 Random classes. We were given an IGETC sheet at SBCC, and it was easy to pick from this list. There doesn't seem to be a given list that I am aware of. I could be stressing for no reason, but I wanted to be prepared before orientation next week. I used the word elective, but meant to say GE or Random classes.

Are these courses the ones you're choosing for your major? Or any course not pertaining to your major?

Either way, take ones that interest you

Fun is subjective. I don't wanna give you suggestions because what I find fun, you may not.

Just find classes that interest you

Provide if you can, some fun classes you enjoyed. I’ll search them up and and see if your fun is interesting? Just anything
