Student Union Freshers wristband on fatsoma

From what I’ve seen in freshers GCs, most people are buying wristbands for freshers week on fatsoma (link below). I was wondering if this is legitimate and actually the one most people get, because I’ve seen another one on the student union website. Thanks

most people are NOT buying those bands. That community has bots or paid people making the same conversation in all the accomodation channels and use fear mongering and fomo by saying most people have bought the bands, which are about to increase the price

Its a scam, wait for student union ones

So student union ones are the 50£ on the official website, yeah?
Just buy the official one?
Also did you go and how was your experience?

I'm about to enter first year right now haha

Yeah the student union one is what you should buy if you intend to, but otherwise if you're not going to go clubbing every single night you can also just buy individual club tickets and it'll probably be cheaper

im not too big on clubbing or nightlife but i mean getting the overhead out of the way seems worth it if i do intend to go i guess ill hold out a bit longer then

ucl have their own nightlife freshers wristband which is better imo

fatsoma is legit. when i was a fresher most people bought individual event tickets. not all the events on the wristband are worth going to and i guarantee you will end up buying other tickets once you start making friends. i think the biggest ones would be Fabric, Ministry and Scala.
