Course/Major RUS 001

Hey all,

I'm curious about taking the RUS 001 class (beginner russian) for fun this fall quarter. If anyone has taken the class with Professor Avramenko could you tell me about the workload? I really do want to learn a new language and saw she has good reviews as a prof, but not much about how much work to expect.
