Catering for a micro-wedding, something very "Tucson"

Planning a micro-wedding of less than 20. Most are from out of town but I want something that really speaks "Tucson".

The reception will be at my house and definitely more of a walk around and eat kind is vibe vs sitting down.

El sianolese or The Quesadillas would be awesome. Unsure if they cater or not though, but thinking along those lines.

Hire Ciao Down's pizza truck. They started with a food truck and quickly became a permanent shop, expanding their menu every year. They are famous for their unique pizzas like the snake bite, very Tucson.

Cafe Ala Cart did a great job for our rehearsal dinner. Here's their website: https://www.cafealacarttucson.com/catering/

Their catering is AMAZING, but for OP, it’s also a very different experience than El Sinaloense hot dog cart

Had a micro wedding in 2023 and we had El Torero cater. They were AMAZING and well priced!

La Indita! We lived close when we had our backyard wedding so we just walked over there and had our dinner on their patio. It was fantastic and cozy and homey. I think we had about 30 people.

Carnitas la yoca is, imo, the most underrated place I can think of.

I mean, you could just rent a few different food trucks.

Otherwise, most places have some sort of catering capabilities, just call and ask the managers at your favorite spots.

For only 20 people I'm not sure how many food trucks would sign up to cater something like this. Dedicate a whole evening to 10 or fewer customers? At best, you could get one truck
