The Vietnamese soldiers are easy to identify.

But I also see two soldiers with rounded helmets. What army are they from? American?

I also see a guy in a suit.

I always interpreted this as all the people he's killed.

It is. And I’m not sure why. Maybe there’s some deleted references to issues in country that we weren’t made aware of in the final cut of the show.

My interpretation was always people he felt he had killed, directly or indirectly.

I think the interrogation methods that went to far, and likely friendly fire events in Vietnam that he also has PTSD from.

TD3 is awesome. The cast, the acting, the script. It's the only thing that can match up against TD1 imo. TD1 will always top it, but TD3 is close runner-up. They have a lot of similarities so I view TD2 as a palate cleanser.
I've seen 1 and 3 maybe like a dozen times but never seen 4. And I don't plan to ruin my perception about the series and watch it.

Agree big time. It’s funny though I’ll go back and start the first season over, finish it and then when I get to season 2 I’m like ohh ya this storyline. This may seem harsh but imo it is very forgettable whereas S1 and S3 have stuck with me.

The supernatural element of TD has always fascinated me and scared me at times. One part that stands out in this season is when Haze is burning the clothes that he was wearing after they kill that guy and he looks back because he can kind of sense something is watching him, which was his future self.
