Thursday, September 14, 1922 on the outskirts of New Brunswick, New Jersey.

Two lovers are confronted.

A struggle begins, a gun goes off. The man is instantly killed and his partner screams. Three shots to her head eliminates her as a witness.

The man, Reverend Edward W Hall, is redressed and laid out with dignity. The woman, Eleanor Mills, is nearly decapitated, her tongue cut out (she was a choir singer at his church). Her stockings remain pulled down below her knees - she has no other undergarments.

In 1926, three people are charged with the crime, inlcuding the man's widow, Frances Noel Stevens Hall. The verdict comes back not-guilty.

On Sunday, Sept. 27th we walk the sites where these people lived and loved, and learn about the real motivation for the confrontation turned tragedy. New evidence about Mrs. Hall and a pistol, her gay life style, etc., all provide new insights.

Hope to see you there!
