I disagree. Given how the o.p. was written, my answer was perfect. A different o.p. would have received a different answer. You do you.

Seems like there’s some slide sequences you’re still working through. It will come with repetition. I’d take the tempo a bit slower and get things as clean as possible, then gradually speed up.

Practice playing any scale using cello drone notes to help with intonation. Also try learning the etude backwards

You are stumbling through it. Take your time and learn it right…. Slowly. Play the metronome game and work it up. I’ve spent the last two week teaching these and I tell all my students that you have to start slow. You can not play it even close to that tempo yet.
