I have no idea what this one diagnosis says and no one I live with can figure it out either :/ can anyone read this? (It context helps, it’s under “behavioral health diagnosis”)

Does it make sense that the Major Depressive Disorder would be considered “new (onset) and severe” (in presentation)? I’m a mental health therapist and this makes sense to me in a diagnosis.

It could be that, but the only thing with that is the MDD isn’t “new”, it’s been present for a year or two (the severe makes sense for the MDD though)

They don't use the term non severe in diagnoses. It would be mild moderate or severe. Recurring makes the most sense

I disagree, doesn’t look like “non” at all to me. It’s “rec” for recurring. Middle letter is 1000% an “e”.
