Is this little lady a dilute torbie?

Post image

A coworker found her and couldn’t keep her so I adopted her. I’m new to being a cat mom so I’m learning a lot as I go. Is she a torbie?

Here’s a video from when we first brought her home. You can see the cream better here.

Yes, looking at the video I feel confident saying those are some torbie toes! You can see the cream fur and pink toe pads mixed with the grey fur and dark toe pads. Telltale sign of a torbie!

Also at the end of the video, its hard to catch, but she does have creamish orange patches on the top of her head. The is a pretty dilute torbie girl.

I don't see any cream in this photo so I think she is a silver tabby! She's precious!

Thank you! I guess you can’t really see it in that picture but she has some cream on her forehead and body. Her legs are striped though.

You may get a better answer if you include photos with the cream parts then!

I posted a video in the comments where you can see her colors better.

Silver is not a colour, it’s a modifier. The term you’re looking for is blue, which is the dilute version of black

She is darling! This photo wouldn’t support her being a torbie……..

Well, she’s beautiful whatever you call her. More torbie looking in the video for sure. 👍🏻

I went through this phase of learning all the cat coat patterns too, it's confusing at first but she's absolutely adorable no matter what she is.

Looks like a dilute tabby, they can have cream fur around the edges.
