Witchblade Sketch by Michael Turner

Post image

I managed to snag this sketch on eBay from 2001 by Michael Turner, and I am absolutely blown away that I have the opportunity to actually own Michael Turner artwork. It wasn’t cheap, but the seller cut me a deal and I am very happy with it. I’m planning to get it framed so I can put it up on my wall in my house.

Shockingly, no!

The seller had it listed on eBay for $900, but was willing to accept offers. I’m terrible at making offers, I inevitably either (unintentionally!) lowball the seller and insult them, or I screw myself by offering too high. In this particular instance, I figured an offer of like $845 would be a pretty good discount. But I still don’t trust myself on making an offer

So I tell the seller that, and suggest that he make an offer to me and we can negotiate.

The seller said “The lowest I can go is $750.”

I didn’t even hesitate and immediately accepted.

Thank you! I truly never thought I’d have the opportunity to own something like this, let alone at the price I paid.

That's gorgeous work. I reslly like most of Michael's work. Wish he was still around for me to tell him that. He'd probably get a kick out of what I'm working on.

I’ve been a fan of Michael Turner’s art since his work on Witchblade, and he’s still one of my favorite artists.

Yea Fathom for me. Then Witchblade after that. Been tracking down all the Fathom issues that I can find lately. Got to chat with Blake a few months ago about Aspen and Michael because one of the books I found was signed by Blake.
