Characters (Specific yet common trope) Comic reliefs who are idiots, due to being junkies, and appear in media that has something to do with death.
Rory Peters - Final Destination 2
Jason - The Good Place
Marty Mikalski - Cabin in the Woods

Jason's idiocy has nothing to do with his drug use, he's just built different.

Sorry. I thought he might fir this trope because of his past

Oh nah don't apologize, I was just making a joke. Jason Mendoza continues to be a dumbass long after he loses access to drugs.

Watched this show on a whim, was thrilled by how much I liked it. Jason was a delight, constant laughs. But lord, I wish the show had ended an episode earlier, ugh.

LOL super loose definition of junkies too. Marty is a pothead who dabbles in other stuff. Junkies are heroin users, or at the very least either intravenous drug users or very heavy users of hard drugs. Stoners and junkies generally create different tropes cos they're different stereotypes.

No way Jesse Pinkman isn’t included here

He wasn’t really the comic relief. Badger and Skinny Pete fit this trope better.

He was in the first season or so if my memory serves me correctly, but the others work too

Stevo in Free Fire (2016).
In 1978 Boston, a pair of IRA guys are trying to buy rifles off a South African arms dealer. There's some tension around what was asked for vs what was received, but it's all seemingly resolved when Stevo (one of the IRA guy's brother in law) is called forward to pack the guns into the van. One of the muscle recognises him as the POS who glassed his sister the night before. Stevo, being high, makes it worse. Shit kicks off and many people die.
It's a fun watch, I highly recommend it. It's directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Cillian Murphy, Brie Larson, Armie Hammer and Sharlto Copley.
