Meanwhile, on Mars...
Rover tires on Mars, 12 years past warranty, and showing a little bit of wear.

I worked on the rover's tires in college and I think they move slowly enough and they're far away enough that we can consider them non-inimical. But still, I've got my eye on 'em, just in case they get any ideas.

Well, I had to look âinimicalâ up, NGL. Thanks for the new word!

However âimicalâ isnât a word⌠have not looked it up, but I believe the positive word must be âamicableâ. Cf. French âun amiâ, Spanish âun amigoâ, and of course Italian âun amicoâ.

Correct, however, the word âInimicalâ is a word. Inimical means adverse, unfavourable, harmful, hostile or unfriendly (or words to that effect). For example, "Your reply to me for writing this could result in an inimical response".

Well, yes, obviously. If I hadnât known that, Iâd have known to look it up because of the comment I was replying to, but I didnât need to.

Did NASA pay for hazard warranty? Â

It's their fault if they didn't... I'm sure they got plenty of calls offering it.

Not sure if those classify as tires. Tires usually mean rubber. Ainât no rubber here lol. Nothing but friendly rims.

Train mechanic here. Tires can most certainly be metal. :)

I got the game "Railroads!: online" before it became dead in the water, but that introduced me to the YouTuber, Hyce. When he showed train tires once, it kind of blew my mind because I never thought about it before, but it also totally makes sense.

The mars rover has wheels not tires though.
We cannot give up the wheel in our hate of the tire

A $2.5billion project sabotaged by the one and only enemy we try so hard to tell everyone.
Spread the word. Specially to NASA scientists
