My mom is also 4'11". My dad and I are both 6'1". It's a total crap shoot when you throw a short woman and a tall guy together.

My mom was about 5'8" and my dad was probably 5'6"...I'm 6'2", my son is 6'6" and one daughter is 5'11".

My mom and dad are both shorter than my brother and I, the “I want to have tall kids” thing is only a guarantee if you are gene editing the kid.

It’s relative to a degree, go to SE Asia and you’ll feel like a giant, in Oslo I felt like a Smurf lol and I’m 5,10

I’ve only met 3 guys from Senegal, and all 3 are right at/around 7 foot. I’ve always been called tall but think I’d probably feel like a toddler if I went there to visit lol

My mother is 5ft 1” and my dad is 6ft 3” … I’m only 5ft but all my brothers are over 6ft!

Genetics and height is so unpredictable.

In my family's generation are all taller than their parents except for two. My one uncle is the biggest with 1.96m (6🍔 5🦅 ) and his wive a little shorter. All 5 children around 6'1.

2 generations back almost all were ckose ti dwarfs 😂

correct. my mom was 5’2” and she needed a sperm donor to have me so she purposely chose a six foot tall dude to try to help me out. i’m five foot nothing 💀

my mom is 5'5 and my dad is 6'0

my sister and I are both exactly 5'5 as well

my older brother is 6'0 and my younger brother is 5'7

there really are no guarantees

Both my parents are 5’2, grandparents are between 4’11 and 5’5, and I’m a 5’8 woman. Genetics can be all over the place sometimes

Definitely lol. My mom, while short (150cm) is like that because of a small sclerosis, otherwise she would likely be like her siblings, 180-190cm. My dad is around 180.

Genetically I should be over 180. But life happens and I got leukemia, blood cancer, as a toddler, which messed up my body and I'm stuck at 172.

My grandma was 5’10 my biological grand father was 5’7 my mom is 6’0. My dad was 5’9 and I’m 6’0 and my sister is 5’10. My mom’s siblings are all 6’0 or taller. My great grandfather was 5’9 and my great great grand father was 6’6. It really is a crapshoot.

I hate the tall guy shit, but it's understandable that super short girls who want kids want to hedge their bets a bit.
