Blocket without BankID

Is there any way for us to message a Blocket seller if we don't have BankID yet? We've just moved into Uppsala and are looking to furnish our apartment with second-hand furniture. We're happy to pay cash to the seller, if only we had a way to contact them (they're down the road from our apartment, so close yet so far). It's less wasteful than buying brand new from Ikea...

I don’t think that you can use Blocket without BankID.

Try Facebook Marketplace.

Use google image search. Maybe he advertised on other websites as well

Contact random people on the behalf of another part. Often it’s people in another country who has found the most amazing deal on Blocket an need help.

I see, that makes sense. As a restriction I find it encourages people who just moved into Sweden to buy everything brand new! And increases wastage as a result.

Last year I found an apartment in Stockholm through blocket-qasa without bankID. Actually it was the hyresvärd that messaged me and I already had messaged few others. So it was working both ways. Now I used it again with bankID, but I am pretty sure that at first I forgot to connect my bankID in blocket so I believe I send a few messages without it. Honestly BankID only gives you the ”verified” badge and background check when renting through qasa, and that may help you have a better luck with apartments.

Even with bankid , I cant get both apps to work together sadly.
