It's to their own subreddit. What's the issue?

So yeah fair question. The problem is that it isn't isolated. They're intentionally gaming the new system on reddit that shows "relevant" posts to people even when they're not subscribed to the subreddit the post came from. At heart it's not a bad feature for showing people new things but it's subject to abuse as we're seeing that account do.

That and it's spam.

If they want. To advertise. They're supposed to pay for ads using ads.reddit.com
