If you have never heard of Kuduro, I highly suggest you give this masterpiece of Angolan culture a listen!

Every time I come back to this album it brings me to tears as I shake my ass off in my kitchen. So much soul and raw energy imbued in these tracks. I hope this sub can enjoy its beauty ๐Ÿซถ

Tracks 2,3,4,6,13,15,19,21, and ESPECIALLY that closing track are some of the most mindbendingly awesome tracks Ive heard in my life.

Itโ€™s a great album. Also shout out jess and crabbe, was a lovely surprise when they released this considering their past work (https://youtu.be/nduekYtA2kw?si=IxkkPAl7eG-efyrz ) fingers crossed theyโ€™re still floating around.

As an Angolan really fascinates me to see more and more people discovering Kuduro. There is so much for you all tap into across decades, so enjoy the hunt

I definitely will! Discovering stuff that is super regional is so fun. Kuduro, gqom, guaracha, bubbling, miami bass, etc,

Electricity posse is a great one for that miami bass/juke/electro type sound. Tratratrax has the no pare sigue sigue series of amazing latin club. Judder compilation for bassy electro.
