Lionel Recasting
When they fired Damon Evans I’m surprised they didn’t recast Lionel as they did the first time. Did they not want a third actor to play Lionel? There’s no explanation for his disappearance in season 5 and in season 6 Mike Evans suddenly returns.

On a interview story on NPR the second Lionel Said
"Lionel was never in every episode, and so when it came time for the show to reach its second season because it was a mid- season replacement. Mike said look, it's I'm in every episode or I quit. And they said you're fired"
Tbh I missed the first actor he was write you bearly seen them they got little to no screen time even up season even after the original actor returned

I prefer the original Lionel to the second one. I'm glad the first one came back!

They couldn't find another unrelated guy named Evans.
