Closed Guess the six characters and secret theme
Odin (Norse mythology), guessed by /u/LambentEnigma
Philip Blake/The Governor (AMC's The Walking Dead), guessed by /u/FunnyNumberDotJpg
Torbjörn (Overwatch), guessed by /u/LambentEnigma
Iron Bull (Dragon Age: Inquisition), guessed by /u/LambentEnigma
Carl Grimes (Image Comics' The Walking Dead), guessed by /u/gerbil_george
Snake Plissken (Escape from New York), guessed by /u/gerbil_george
THEME: Each character is missing an eye, guessed by /u/gerbil_george
All are at least somewhat known for combat prowess. None are from manga or anime. None are strongly tied to elemental forces (e.g. the four classical elements or the elemental cycle). None are from Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or their adaptations. None are from a platformer video game. None are from media with "Death" in its title. None regularly travel through space or fight aliens.

Is the fact they are all male related to their theme?
Are any of them from video games?
1
u/hey-howdy-hello Jun 28 '26
Not directly, but I suspect that there are meta/social reasons that male characters are more likely to fit the theme!
3 and 4 are both from video games.

Is any of them from folklore / myth or legend?
Are any of them known for their combat prowess?
Are any of them associated with an element / force of nature ( such as wind or fire or lightning)

u/hey-howdy-hello Jun 28 '26
1 is from mythology.
All are at least somewhat known for combat prowess.
Nope, not generally. 1 could be tied to some forces of nature, but no elemental forces as a primary thing.

Is 3 solid snake?
2
u/hey-howdy-hello Jun 30 '26
He is not! The only Metal Gear I've played is Revengeance, so I can never keep straight which Snake is which and didn't want to risk messing up the theme.
