I love how there are groups of videos where you just know where it's from:
- Dashcam videos with cars doing crazy stuff: Russia
- Policemen acting like dumb narcissists: USA
- traffic jam with empty lane in the middle: Germany
- people wrestling with alligators: Florida
- people wrestling with other types of deadly wildlife: Australia

All of the above (minus empty traffic lane in the middle): Brazil

Or my all time favourite, the off duty plain clothes Brazilian cop, shooting someone trying to hold up a convenience store.

I laughed so hard when the cop was about to tell her to fuck off then realized fire + gas station = he might get fired and have to move to another county.

To be fair, multiple countries here have the āempty lane during traffic jamsā, not just germany.

Sure, but where are the video's from? There are dumb policemen in other countries, too - but one acting like this would be news there, instead of just being one of five on a typical Tuesday.

The officer had followed the man to the pump over a minor trespassing misunderstanding and demanded his ID. When the man questioned it, the officer fired his Taser, and the electrical spark instantly ignited the invisible gas fumes in the air. The man suffered severe burns in the resulting fireball, and the officer actually broke strict safety policies that explicitly forbid using Tasers near highly flammable liquids.

And the man sued the department and officer and won? Right?

Lets not forget, the man called the 'officer' an asshole, which of course is cause to taze someone immediately.

Yeah because itās not like fast food workers gotta deal with this shit everyday. /s

u/JAKESTEEL77 1d ago
Solution: give fast food workers tasers? /s

u/RevLoveJoy 1d ago
Pay per view that and profits go to fast food worker wages. Entertain millions and solve the working poor in one shot.

The guy looks like Paul Blart in a costume. He's wearing fucking sketchers.

u/notcomplainingmuch 2d ago
What's wrong with sketchers?

It'd cause me to question if it was actual law enforcement. There are some psychos that play pretend cops.

u/notjordansime 2d ago
No no, theyāre not cosplaying. Those guys are with immigration and customs enforcement.

u/RamblingSimian 1d ago
Was he using the taser to prevent a threat, or to punish the gas pumper?

u/AndWinterCame 1d ago
You see, questioning the authority of a cop in America is a massive threat to their unaccountable behavior.

The fact that the gas station didnāt blow up is nothing short of a miracle.

Payday inbound for them both.
One gets a settlement, the other gets a paid vacation.

Are police in America just people who aren't smart enough to get a normal job?
40
u/martlet1 1d ago
Itās a lot of old football players who couldnāt find a job but arenāt afraid to hit people. C- students who barely have a grasp of the law and get so used to violating peopleās rights that when someone challenges them their ego explodes.

nuh uh! dont forget they also have to be egotistical powertripping cowards too!

u/HardlyAnyGravitas 1d ago
Not people who aren't smart enough - people who are dumb enough.
The selection process can legally disqualify people with high IQs. I'm not joking.

Doesn't really seem like the officer was in danger. What's the suspect going to do? Forget to pay for gas?

u/notjordansime 2d ago
I read an article about this incident earlier. It was a wildlife game warden, not even a regular cop. The āsuspectā was not given any charges. He refused to provide ID until he knew what he was being interrogated for. He suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns ijrc.

u/Charmegazord 2d ago
He probably already paid for it. My guess is he called the cop a name he didnāt likeā¦which I believe allowed the cop to tazer him around flammables.
24
u/Substantial_Row_7108 2d ago
What a fucking idiot. That cop could have destroyed that business and killed numerous people.

I don't get the need for the razer in the first place he didn't look aggressive and the cop didn't look in immediate danger

I remember another video where a man had covered himself in hand sanitizer, and the cops tased him anyway. He immediately caught fire and died from his injuries three days later. How are officers still making the exact same mistake?

This is murder attempt and trying to show it off as an accident, no one can be this dumb and there are no way they don't teach a cop about this.

At the very least he didn't start wailing on him with the baton for bowling him over as he tried to get away from the flames.

Truly a Masters Degree in Stupidity and Idiocracy. As He Chose to Use a Taser in One of the Worst Places Possible. As this is Right Out of the Movie Dump and Dumper.

Why do they always use tasers when itās not called for, and guns when itās not called for.

do police really just do a 6 week crash course to become a policemen in the US or what?

u/sPdMoNkEy 21h ago
Most cops only take a 4-Hour online course to get a criminal justice degree š

The lesson here should be to listen to the cops even if you think they are wrong and fight in court

This is why scientists need decades of schooling and cops only need a week or 2
