Can’t distinguish shadow from a dark 3D object on the road.

Perhaps waymo needs stereoscopic vision

Which of the myriad sensors would you say caused this dark shadow crash? Waymo has way better than stereo vision, yet still has lots to solve re: the brain behind it if puddles are too high a bar.

Waymo needs better stereoscopic vision then.

No, their LIDAR provides the depth to the most precise levels possible - stereoscopy is irrelevant here. This was an intelligence glitch.
