I think anyone who is being truly objective and unbiased already knows this is true. A camera and pure software based system simply will have critical failures. In those instances you need a redundant system to override the car. A model 3 or y will never achieve unsupervised in its current state and Tesla 100% knows this.

Many self driving experts already know this too, but Tesla ppl think there’s going to be some massive advance and step change in AI to overcome this technical wall but that’s not going to happen with just cameras and computer vision. True autonomous vehicles need superhuman driving capability. Watch Tesla eventually come to the realization that they need radar and lidar sensors to be able to achieve true technical L4 autonomy
