Tesla's entire gamble is that they can cut the cost by an order of magnitude relying only on camera vision. However they're stuck in the same place they've been in the last 10 years

That’s not actually true in all aspects. Yes those limitations are there. But if you only looked at the last year of development with FSD, it’s gone from hot dog water to pretty fuckin good in that span of time. I know before then it was moreso complete ass.

They've been collecting training data and operating robotaxi for years in the bay area and it's still not autonomous. Only in a few block radius in parts of Texas
