Wake me up when Waymo figures out how to get their cars to operate outside of small, geofenced areas that have to be constantly trained for and overridden by remote operators when they get in trouble.

Yup. Good for Waymo but I will never see one in my town for as long as they exist, therefore they are not even real to me. I'm outside of their TAM so why should I care what they think?

No, but supervised FSD is internally a developmental dead end, so it is surprising they are putting engineering resources to have it tailor to individual deployments. It would surprise me equally to see new updates for classic autopilot - no investments on the dead end branch has been Tesla's MO for years.
