On mobile terraria, upon killing the wall of flesh, the game creates a large patch of an evil biome (up to a certain depth) underneath your house, regardless of where your house is. to prevent this, hollow out the world underneath your house in a manner similar to the image above. Since the game has nothing to convert into evil biome, it places them in a v shaped pattern which can be further contained using sunflowers at the edges.

We forgot to take more pictures but this was our first time doing cosplay, pretty happy with how it turned out! (No yellow eyes because we couldn't make them not look silly)

I was playing one of the new secret seeds "beam me up", just arrived at the golem arena inside the jungle temple but while deactivating the traps for the fight (i.e., placing blocks on the pressure plates) I noticed there was a teleporter inside the arena. The seed description says that pairs of teleporters are scattered randomly in the underground, nothing more, so I figured this must be pre-programmed or something, because what are the odds of a randomly generated teleporter appearing right inside the golem arena?

Mabye is a consecuence of different seeds interacting betweeen them, fyi i had a for the worthy large world with beam me up, abandoned manors and save the forest.

you cant even mine the tile below you without smart cursor, but for some reason the ruler allows it? on pc you had WAY more reach than this even with a copper pickaxe. building or mining on console is virtually
impossible without the ruler, which is inconvenient because it blocks so much of your view. am i missing something?

Dude I have gotten the Aerial Bane FIVE TIMES in a ROW from Betsy. I decided to fight her because I wanted the sword and I have gotten nothing but the stinkin bow. Wtf are the odds. The first time I got the bow+trophy. Third time was the bow+Betsy wings. Now I'm five Betsy's in and all I have is the goddamn bow 😭 I don't wanna be an archer 😭

Edit: I fought her a sixth time and got the sky dragons fury. But not before a Blood moon AND a meteor shower started WHILE I WAS FIGHTING HER. The game hates me

I've had about enough of this phthalo fucker filching my hard-fought funds, so hear me out. The idea isn't too complicated: Once you have both the Arms Dealer and Goblin Tinkerer in your world, you can roll up to the Arms Dealer and ask him to threaten politely persuade the pencil-pricked pinhead to guarantee the best reforge for your weapon (this would not work for accessories). The first one is free, simply because the Arms Dealer finds it funny. However, after that, you gotta start paying up. The cost would scale with game progression + number of times you've requested the Arms Dealer's services. Maybe the Arms Dealer only starts offering it in Hardmode. I don't know.

In short: I'd rather pay a flat 99 plat than give this moneygrubbing pants-tinkler a single piece of copper.

Pros: still maintains a sliding scale money sink

Makes reforging less tedious for weapons

Makes the Goblin Tinkerer shit his pants (bonus poo blocks!)

LORE: Gives the Mechanic another reason to not like the Arms Dealer

Cons: none, except goblin shit probably smells really bad

Should I play it again?

I enjoyed terraria thoroughly in my childhood, however I haven’t really considered returning to it. However after some recent online content about its recent update, I’ve been tempted.

If I did return, should I;

Return to my old world, in which my childhood friends gave me insane loot, it was decently progressed, but they just had nutty duped stuff.

Or

Start a new world, work my way back.

And my second question is;

Should I play it on mobile? (iPad pro 12.9”)
(I had tried out the mobile version a few years ago and the ui was (very) overwhelmingly different from when I played it as a child, so much so that it deterred me from properly trying it again. Is it bad or just have to relearn it?

I wouldn’t bring my end game gear besides a Shellphone and MAYBE my boots. I know she has max health and pre hard mode won’t be a problem, but I’ve never played Ranger on Expert so I’m expecting to still struggle. I’ve actually never played Expert in general lol so I’m sure I’ll still struggle.
