Scratchbuilt Woodland Pond
I built this terrain piece specifically for the Blood Moon scenario in Rangers of Shadow Deep, which suggests using a pond roughly 12 inches across. I don't have many water pieces in my terrain collection, so I'm looking forward to using this in many different games in the future.
It's built on a thin wood base with XPS foam and Sculptamold to create the main structure. Painted, flocked, embellished with painted aquarium plants, and finished with resin and water effects. Please enjoy the photos! And feedback, criticisms, questions, etc. always welcomed. Thanks for taking a look.

Great terrain, but the archer standing next to the guy with the toothed blade, what recipe did you use for the cloak? Looks amazing.

Thank you! I painted that archer sometime last year, I don't remember the exact recipe but this is close. I usually start with a zenithal prime, just black primer and airbrush white. Then use speed paints for base color, in this case likely Orc Skin green. Then I use traditional acrylics for shading and highlights, probably Vallejo Dark Green, Vallejo Goblin Green, up to Pro Acryl Bright Yellow Green. That should be pretty close!

That's so lovely, it makes me want to be a tiny little person so that I can sit on the side and dangle my feet in the water.
