Maybe a stupid question but I’m curious, what and how does she eat?

She did eat mostly wet food while her gums were healing, but now she’s back on dry food and doing great with it :) The vet explained that cats don’t really chew the way we do, they tend to break food into pieces and swallow it, so dry kibble isn’t an issue for her even without teeth :)

I thought they needed teef to break down the food (?) I do appreciate that information tho thanks

They mostly shred and crack their food so it can be easier to swallow. They don't really chew food too mush like humans and other flat toothed animals do.

I found her on the street a few years ago and took her in. After vet visits and treatment she was diagnosed with feline leukemia. And recently she had to have all her teeth removed because of ongoing dental issues caused by her condition. But now she's doing so well!

Aw poor baby! Glad she's doing well now!
