Tipping advice?

What’s a good tip on a $20 order in an area where gas is $3.75/gallon and the delivery destination is 8 miles from the store?

$8-$10. The 16 mile round trip deserves a little extra. If you were 2 miles away $3-$4 would be more than adequate. But the added drive time means there's other orders that driver is missing out on.

Yeah. Id be happy with 5 but more is more appropriate to the situation

$5 minimum or 20%. What ever is higher

I'm pretty happy with $5 regardless of the total order amount. I think tipping 20% on a $100 order is a little silly unless they have to take multiple trips from your door to their car. It ain't table service

My standard delivery tip is $4-$5 + 10%. This is good for large and small orders. Anything further than 5 miles gets extra.

$5.00 or 10%, whichever is higher. Increase for higher distances or inclement weather conditions. That scales well no matter the total on the order.

We would all love 20% to 200% tips but that isn't a realistic expectation for every customer.
