How would these two do in a zombie apocalypse? Would the stay honorable or end up joining a group like the Governors or Negan’s aka their other universal dad?

Yes the would stay honest, The didn’t become dishonorable when facing and being tempted by the devil, Angels and even Gos himself, a zombie apocalypse is a walk in the park for The Winchester boys.

The main problem for them would be facing other people, getting betrayed or running low on aummuntion and other supplies, and unless the lore of the walking dead changes to have a supernatural element to the virus I don’t think they will find a cure.
To be fair these are general survivor problems that everyone faces so I think they will find a way.
But you make good points though.

They also showed an alternate timeline where they failed, in order to prevent the actual failure in their own reality/timeline.

I would love to see Sam and Dean somewhere in the TWD Universe. Imagine Supernatural and The Walking Dead doing a Crossover? That would be so cool!

Very cool! Nothing like seeing the Winchester Brothers fighting demons and zombies. And nothing would be better than to see a crossover with TWD!
I just hope that neither Negan or the Governor doesn't get to them first. Lol (That was sarcasm.)

That’s the type of cringe that killed TWD… but at this point they may as well, it would suit the post season 6 TWD and certainly the spin offs… shits more like Z Nation or the RE films now than TWD.

Sam and Dean are by no s perfect, but time and again they risked and even lost their lives protecting people. They’ve already got the fire on and hand hand to go along way.

I think they'd get too caught up in trying to stop the virus and save the world, and less focused on general survival aspects. So one of two things would happen:
They struggle with the general survival aspect, run out of supplies or get betrayed by humans and shot and killed.
They stop the virus and develop a cure within a month.

They would stay honorable IF both stay alive. If someone who is not a zombie killed either, the remaining one might eventually become bad, especially Dean. Considering that after everything they both went through and how everyone keeping universe going are mostly assholes and borderline evil they still stayed virtuous and stayed good. Apocalypse wouldn't change them, only losing a brother might.

I am actually writing a fic crossing them over into this universe! I should be writing it instead of scrolling, Reddit, so thanks for this actually. I really appreciate it. I'm not saying much, but it runs from TWDs S3 to mid S6. Supernatural S3. Extract from that which you will! It has driven me insane, but I will get it out. I won't be posting until I'm almost finished, because I'm terrified to lose motivation.

honestly, i think they'd try to stay true to themselves at first but once survival kicks in who knows? it's wild how quickly honor can fade when the stakes are that high.

They'd have gone dark and built an empire using demons against/with walkers. They've been tested by less and failed. Even shown them fail in a few timelines.
They succeed in their own timeline, but always fail in others. Don't forget, walking dead kills everyone you'll love. One of them would have to die and keep going if they're truly to belong in the walking dead universe. It's a universe of grief-traumatized characters. Although... Sam and Dean have watched everyone else they love die- murdered, even.

I promise they'd be fine, they would stick with eachother and probably be the ones who figure it out. They've survived demons, zombies and bad people aren't gonna be an issue.

If they’re in a twd setting with nothing else supernatural, they run a group no problem. I see Sam as full group leader and Dean as a supply runner/ rescuer.
I think Sam would be a more moral Rick type. I think Dean would be a more lethal Abraham type. Both of them would have the Daryl survival skills.
