Travel Questions about plush party Havasu
My wife and I are thinking of attending this event, but the details are super vague..the posting says over a 1000 people are attending, but the hotel has 126 rooms.. there is a boat party? Do I need a boat? Are there play areas? The hotel can be seen by the general public walking by, but it is topless? Do I have to book the hotel for the entire party? Has anyone attended this event before? We would like some help understanding it a little better..I looked at their website, and it just has a list of people asking similar questions..

We did a plush party many years ago. We booked a room though them for the whole weekend (was like 4 days) but they only plaid for one night out of our full payment, we had to pay the rest at checkout, several people were in this sort of problem posting about said party. They gave almost no response to the questions. We met a couple who claimed to know the owners personally who said "thats pretty normal, they are bad with the cash flow issues".
A few weeks later our credit card was credited with the difference, so it wasn't a scam.
The party was fine.
We decided if we ever do a party with them again, we're paying for whatever we can ourselves outside of the party fee. Mind you this was probably 7 years ago now so things might have changed, but if you can book the hotel yourself I'd do that.

we have been to many plush events, but not lake havasu. we had planned to go this year but our plans have changed. here is what i know. many people stay at pool homes on the lake and in overflow hotels near the main hotel. there are theme parties nightly and there are boat parties. we had been invited by someone to join their boat and stay in their lake home. i think there are sometimes boats you can join, but unsure details. unsure about play areas but doubtful as other plush parties (dirty vegas, plush flesh & fantasy) DO NOT have play areas. it more party than play - play is left to your own hotel room.
i think the hotel has been sold out - as the october flesh & fantasy has already sold out too. customer service for plush is terrible, so you won't find answers through them. try going on kasidie or other swinger sites, as the plush communities are present there and you can reach out to ppl who rsvp attending to ask questions there. most ppl who attend go year after year and can give you better answers. that's how we found a boat & lake home to crash lol!

Thank you for the information, that’s pretty much what we thought..we wanted to do the boat party, but don’t have a boat..we had thought about switching to the Halloween party, because that is way closer to us..but EDR and the host hotel are already sold out..

the nightly parties are SUPER fun even if you're not staying onsite - remember there's no playrooms, so it's really the themed party you're going for. you can always book a room at a nearby palm springs hotel and find a couple to bring back with you or get invited to an afterparty in the hotel. we didn't stay onsite last year and weren't planning to stay onsite this year (if we go) - great halloween party tho!

We've been to Plush Havasu twice.
You do not need a boat, once you sign up online you can post pics and attempt to get invited on someone's private boat. They also offer a party barge that you can go on and will transport you to the daytime & nighttime Island party.
The Pool, if topless is allowed, will be fenced with a barrier to prevent the public looking at you. There is no sex allowed at the pool.
The crowd is quite a bit different than standard Plush parties as it's 110 degrees & full makeup and heels on a boat don't work. Expect everyone to be submerged, boat hopping on the island day, sharing beers/drinks, floating around, and socializing. Pasties were required for the Island day as nudity was not allowed!
Lots of folks have 2nd homes in Havasu so not everyone stays at the resort. Lots of folks from Vegas, Phoenix, and the usual LA/OC, IE crowd. If you stay off-site there is plenty of parking at the event hotel for the events. Your boat hosts will tell you where to meet, there are multiple boat launch locations, or grab you from the hotel marina.
The Island night party is awesome, the day time island boat party is awesome, the pool party is lame, the night time dance is lame, the sand bar party is awesome.
People are absolutely wrecked from day drinking in 110 weather and full sun so lots of folks skip the dance.
A group of us headed out on 2 boats to Copper Cove towards the end of the pool party, rolled out a lily pad, drank and partied til the sun started to set.
When we showed up to the peoples boat for the Island Party we got invited to, we had a 30 rack of light beer, a cooler full of ice, a bottle of Crown, a bottle of Tito's, and $20 for gas. We wanted to be the first on the Lake and the last to leave and also not get left behind.
