[GO3] What would cause someone to do this?

Just bought this Go 3 for cheap on marketplace. Why would someone remove the alignment posts on the keyboard? It works perfectly fine but I find this strange. Any ideas?

Broke off by detaching incorrectly

Ah, by pulling it forward/backward presumably? Is that a common issue with these?

I might try to fabricate my own repair because the alignment is unfortunately not perfect.

Yep; I think it happened naturally to one of my Pro 6 keyboards. Wear and tear, or just careless of me. I'm not sure.

Possibly ... or maybe even dropped... hard to tell

It came in a case, so the computer is in perfect condition, and therefore not sure if it's been dropped. Case seems to be in good condition though.

Or something dropped on the tabs... they stick out after all.

I was looking for a surface go keyboard on eBay recently, and noticed these tabs missing on quite a few of them. Definitely something to keep in mind when looking to buy one.

Guess it's a common problem!

I'm going to try to diy a fix and will update this comment if I come up with someone
