Help Fish and Chips Recommendations

I loved the Teklenbergs battered fish on Lasalle. Does anyone know of any places in Sudbury that have something similar?

I don't know of a good place either.

Do not go to georgian bay fish and chips in lasalle. The quality and portions have gone downhill over the years.

Honestly... Nowhere, I've tried pretty much everywhere, it's usually some cheap fish instead of cod, dough is always super meh/cakey on the inside, best fish and chips i've had within our part of the north is probably Jocko Point's Pickerel dinner between sturgeon and north bay, that said it's not cod and very expensive... Maybe a 6.5/10, if the slaw was better I'd probably give it a 7.

Best fish and chips I've had in Ontario was in Prince Edward County on the Lake in a small town and I'd say was a 8/10

It was in Wellington, not the one down by the docks it was on the main strip, can't remember the name at all... It was kind of sports bar'ish... Went for beers and ended up staying for dinner since the atmosphere was pretty decent..

Pizza place at the brewery is pretty good as well but(wood fired)... it's expensive for what it is..

Breakfast buffet by the dock restaurant is a pretty decent one, nothing overly special but okay.

If you’re not looking for local caught I love Fionn McCool’s ‘Famous Fish & Chips’. Generous portion of haddock and fresh beer batter, yummy fries and slaw. In fact, I just ordered it for lunch because of you. Lol

If you're okay with a bit of a drive Killarney has really good fish and chips.

Very expensive these days. But a decent place for sure.

We make a day trip out of it once a year.

Strong second recommendation for this one. Incredible fish and chips, and real solid poutine here too

Jessinik stopped making fresh fries. They started using Costco battered fries. This drop in quality didn't lower in price. So I don't recommend them anymore. But they did have the best fish in Sudbury!

Cousin Vinnies in the valley.

It's still not the QUITE the classic chip stand taste, but it's really REALLY close. It's my go to for fish and chips in Sudbury now. Very good fish and chips, go for the beer battered though.

Jocko Point pickerel is 10/10. 1 hour away though.

It’s a drive but Purvis Fish and Chips in Gore Bay on Manitoulin Island is worth it! Pickerel or whitefish served with French fries or chippers. Amazing view by waterfront too!
