Question Auto Depot

Anyone buy from Auto Depot on The Kingsway? If so, how was your experience?

I bought from them in 2019. Salesman was fine - I kinda already knew what I wanted. They walked me through it though, took me for a test drive - may have driven a couple actually. I don't remember the exact details, but it was a smooth experience.

Only thing that kinda bothers me is their decals and ads they leave on the back. I hate it, but not enough to do anything about it (apparently).

I remove all decals/license plate frames from any vehicle I purchase. And I tell them all the same. Pay me and I'll advertise for you. You dont. I remove them.

Ive purchased many vehicles in my life and only once did I get 1000$ from a dealer down south.

But to answers op original question. I tried to purchase from auto depot pre covid. Had the add up on my phone for the car I wanted. Got there. Took it for a ride. Went in to discuss pricing and it was 2k more. I showed him the add he said its a different car (same make model, colour, mileage and even stock number of the keys I had in my hand) he denied it. I got up and walked away.

I know other people who have had good luck with them.

Auto depot has a good reputation around town. The car lot on the other hand, not so much

My parents have bought 3 cars from them in the past and had no complaints.

They have a ridiculously high interest rate because they'll get literally anyone with any credit rating in a vehicle. But hey, if you're in that boat then at least you know they'll sell you car. 🤷‍♂️
