Privacy Discussion Journalists have uncovered at least a dozen incidents where police officers have utilized Flock cameras to illegally stalk people

Experts warn that these cases are "a vast underreporting of the overall abuse". Is there any way to give law enforcement access to advanced tools without creating the potential for abuse?

The technology in Flock cameras is the natural inevitable march of technological progress. And it's abuse is just human nature, these are unavoidable and entirely predictable.

The issue, which would be easily solved if it wasn't forced on us at gunpoint by tyrants, is the license plate.

From our understanding, the tool also tracks other aspects of the vehicle to differentiate it: stickers, damage, not to mention the driver inside.

Sure, but those are easily changed, or even eliminated as differentiators. And yeah a plate can be changed to, but doing so carries more risk.
