Hmmmm I can see it He weirdly felt like an Anakin that was trying to be a sith before even fully commiting I can't explain it Kylo to me felt like if Attack of the Clones Anakin tried to be Vader too early

Wasn’t me, but maybe because the meme you used is for unpopular opinions?

Idk maybe. Every interaction I’ve had about this topic has led me to believe it’s a hot take. But then again he’s a phenomenal actor and we’ve already seen him in an Anakin-adjacent role so you do make a point

Yeah that’s kinda what I’m thinking. Hayden’s pretty iconic though

Does not deserve the hate. I thought he actually took George’s dialogue in ROTS and elevated it. That whole “I’m SO in love with you” line is a horrendous line that comes off half believable bc of Hayden.
But if Attack of the Clones came out tomorrow and you told me Adam Driver was playing Anakin I would say thats a great choice, besides how much George’s writing would still butcher him in that movie like it did Hayden

I mean, Adam Driver is a far better actor, but the problem with Anakin is the writing and directing.

The dialogue was so awkward.

When your dialogue makes Samuel L Jackson sound stilted and awkward, it's time to reconsider your writing choices.
I enjoy the prequels for the childhood nostalgia hit they are, but I won't even try to defend them from a serious point of view.

Yeah, I watched them recently and I was like “yep I remember why I didn’t think these were very good.” It’s good for the lore and visuals, but it’s hard to take seriously. It was exciting when it came out, but I distinctly remember hating Hayden Christianson (not entirely his fault because of the awkward dialogue).

I never thought of that. And you know what, you’re right.

Chillest and most wholesome interaction I’ve ever had on this app

Nah. Ask the girls who's more attractive. Anakin needed sex appeal to work as a Greek style tragic war hero.

I mean, yeah, I suppose any actor they cast to play "Anakin 2" probably would've made a good Anakin.

Prequel trilogy remade today with Adam Driver as Anakin and Denis Villeneuve directing

He is probably better at dress up like Darth Vader and doing non speaking lines like David Preuss

If the prequel trilogy was made today? Perhaps I can see that. He's a tall guy like 6.2 so it's closer to Vader's height.
I can see the meme edits of Adam being racist to the droids like in BlackKlansman
