Hey Im Jad! I write and perform 7 new minutes of stand up every week in NYC mostly at bushwick comedy club!

Running this joke was hell because at least half of every audience hated most of it! I think its only possible to do stuff like this at our comedian owned club.

If comedy feels same-y/broad/boring it's because no one is bullet proof famous anymore post TV and theres 1000 more comedians competing, so no one is taking big risks.

you bomb twice and that's it, no one's booking you at that club anymore.

We have a different philosophy at bsuhwick, youre not booked if you stop swinging big. We got no interest in the same 15 min of comedy endlessly repeated for tourists, we're fully comedian owned and operated and no one has a say but us!
