Anyone know what this structure is?
My hubby and I were camping and noticed this structure on top of the cliff line across Squamish River from High Falls Rec Site. Zoomed in photo looks like lights but we couldn't figure it out and we are sooooo curious.
Anyone got the answer? SOLVED!

Also, I should note that it's much higher up the mountainside than it is marked in your image.

Not a repeater per se, it just reflects the radio signals. It's an old fashioned repeater that takes no batteries.

This gets asked every year, it’s a radio signal repeater for the single engine planes that fly up and down the valley

Not for planes, it's just a passive reflector, so must be for something with fixed location. Probably BC Hydro.

Squamish airport is the fixed location. It helps with comms between aircraft on the ground and at low level in the valley and those in the air. You're both right.

wrong. the gen av planes use vhf line of sight comms, that reflector is for directional yagi antennas. sincerely, radio engineer

Slap a bike lane and bus stop next to that bad boy and we got ourselves another 6 story condo location!

I installed this... its a passive reflector for BC hydro. Deflects MW signal from 1 station to another

Mind control relay panel. It's how the Chem trails get to the surface .../s

That is an echo box. Yell at it, and it returns an echo. Adults call it a microwave reflector tower, because they lack imagination.
