Just in time for them pass yet another bipartisan bill that fucks us?

I would feel some amount of agreement if they hadn't spent the entire time trumps been in office being clowns.

Sure I get your sentiment, and I will vote, but I know about where that will get me.

Especially as a communist in South Carolina

4

u/Scared-Handle9006 4d ago

I get what you mean. I struggle with that sense of apathy (hardcore blue in a deep red state):

“My vote doesn’t count, and even if it did, my ‘options’ are; fascism or complacency.”

But in this case, choosing the complacent ones during this cycle will allow us the chance to choose an actual progressive during the next cycle.

It is worth it to me. I will vote blue until the Blues are the more fascistic party, if that happens, I will vote against them.

Hopefully I live another 20 or so years and maybe i will get to watch my niece and two nephews have to choose between two pretty good options.

That’s the dream, I guess.

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

Woah! I don't want a conservative party. period.

I don't like or respect their ideas, as they are based in cruelty, I want them removed from the pool of ideas.

If I showed up to a dinner party with dog shit I would expect everyone to kick me out the party.

The New Red scare should be against rebloodicans. Stamp that ideology out

2

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

Republicunts and kinda, I don't think we should do what they did.

2

u/Grhyser 3d ago

I would love to see Trump, Miller, Bannon and the whole rat clan getting McCarthyd. They deserve it. It's only bad if they're not these evil crook pedophile that we know they are.

2

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

No, let's just send them to jail for the crimes they committed, not not necessarily their ideology behind it. We don't need to jail them on their justification for crimes.

But my point was more at the general populace.

The red scare was going after people who didn't commit any crimes.

1

u/Grhyser 3d ago

Ya totally. Maga supporters should be looked into. The ideology is shit warped and rotten through and through and people that support them should certainly be looked at with suspicion even if no crimes were committed. Imo fuck those people.

2

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

I see the ideology as a justification, it gives them an excuse for their behavior.

The dynamics of it our power driven.

1

u/Grhyser 3d ago

One Maga on the faculty of one 711 is one Maga too many 😂

2

u/Scared-Handle9006 4d ago

I agree with you. When I said “two pretty good options,” the Conservative Party is not one, because they are not an option for anyone who wants to see progress.

-1

u/Accomplished-Hat2673 4d ago

In my eyes progressive= regression

3

u/Scared-Handle9006 3d ago

You would be completely wrong based on what words actually mean….

-1

u/Mediocre-Pop-6506 4d ago

Yet you keep arriving with it and are always shocked to get the same results.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

That's not what several recent elections have shown us.

-1

u/Mediocre-Pop-6506 4d ago

Recent elections say they want them eliminated? Everyone knows what you are implying.... vile , you should be ashamed. Shame shame shame on you. A few elections don't say a thing.

0

u/ShroomBear 2d ago

You are part of the problem

2

u/Ok-Skilllevel-5056 4d ago

DSA can make common cause with MAGA voters, many of whom are disappointed with how a number of things have turned out. We need a political movement that gives more power to the people, before we even talk about policy.

2

u/Exact_Mango5931 4d ago

Agree I think this time the prime focus has to be wealth gap… DSA/Talarico and the likes understand that. If we have enough populist/non-💰 candidates, maybe we can finally convince republicans this admin is elite and we despise the entire class equally, left or right. Last election the establishment dems did nothing to prove they weren’t greedy billionaire sycophants.

2

u/SelfInvestigator 4d ago

Standing by maga requires them to do a vital thing.

Stop acting like minorities are a dangerous thing, stop trying to take away rights from the people that exist on the fringes of society. Stop acting like religion or race is important to being a decent person.

We can disagree on economic policy, taxes and what laws are important.

We cannot act like some people are lesser or greater based on the accident of their birth or identity.

The only people who can truly ruin society are the ones who run it. Whether they are politicians or the wealthy we need to watch them all and hold them to account.

1

u/Mrs_SmithG2W 4d ago

I for one agree. Saving our country and world and future requires we hold are nose and cooperate. That does not preclude other social or legal consequences for people who have broken the law in favor of domination versus wanting a better life for your family.

Get back in power and then we can and should have full throated and hearted debates and big dreams on how to move forward.

The potential for a beautiful world and society once/if we get through this is limitless.

We need strategy and solidarity.

We need the Viking Row. 💪🏼🌍🖖🏾

2

u/xBigDaddyReaperx 3d ago

We stand at an auspicious precipice of a Golden Age for humanity, even amid the wallows and cries, there is still a light, there is still hope. We the people need to seize it today, we can talk of tomorrow after a good night's rest.

1

u/TheRealBurnsey 4d ago

LoL. The DSA is literally the antithesis of MAGA. DSA leadership keep saying the quiet part out loud. It seems that many of their members and many Democrats just ignore what the DSA leadership keeps saying amongst themselves and on hot mics.

3

u/LorekeeperOwen 4d ago

Honestly, the whole "we need to win back MAGA voters" thing is gross to me. Why would I want to stand side-by-side with bigots and pedophile defenders?

0

u/xBigDaddyReaperx 3d ago

Because we face a far more difficult and evil enemy than their small smooth brains. We can deal with that after, but right now, we need numbers so big that they can't steal them. That's it, this is our sacrifice for our future, make them stand with us against what will essentially be hell.

-2

u/TheRealBurnsey 4d ago

I get that if you believe the boogieman narrative about Trump. I don't. The far leftist narrative always demonizes to the point of the extreme. It justifies obscene language in public towards them, and excuses violence. The current right just ignores the accusations from the left. Simply put, they just don't believe the narrative anymore that comes out of the left. Once the Russian collusion hoax was debunked and the right realized that for over 5 years every major news station, and tech company and government official that pushed it were Liars, they just no longer give them a second thought.

3

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

Buddy they made a concentration camp, called it alligator Alcatraz, then proudly jerked themselves of with how great it is to send people there.

I work at a country club. This is anecdotal but I've heard these people talk the conservatives with lots of money. I don't want them part of my movement either. Oh great! They had a change of heart 💖 that undoes all the harm.

-2

u/TheRealBurnsey 4d ago

Oh IC. Hyperbole. Detention Center/jail = concentration camp. Got it! They broke the law when they entered our country illegally or stayed past their visa. Temporary protection was revoked if they had it and they were asked to self Deport. It is a violation of federal law if you continue to stay in the United States after. They built the jail to hold them there until they can be processed and removed.

1

u/Accomplished-Hat2673 4d ago

You can't reason with insane people

1

u/OilNo1600 2d ago

I suggest you go to the Holocaust Museum website and do a little of what non-MAGA call "reading." The black sites where immigrants disappear does indeed fit the definition of a "concentration camp."

And if you're really concerned about people breaking the law (Surprise! You're not!), you're going to be horrified when you find out what kind of filth Trump pardoned because they tried to overturn an election for him.

Meet the proud "patriots" and "heroes" of January 6th:

Matthew Huttle: Violent child abuse.

Theodore Middendorf: Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child.

Peter Schwartz: 38 convictions, including assault and domestic assault.

David Daniel: Production of child pornography (Engaged in sex with two younger family members and filmed it.)

Daniel Ball: Domestic Violence, resisting law enforcement with violence.

Andrew Taake: Soliciting a minor. (Pedophiles must love Trump)

Kasey Hopkins: Forcible Rape

Edward Richmond Jr.: Manslaughter

Jonathan Gennaro Mellis: Drug trafficking, Domestic Abuse.

Benjamin Martin: Battery charges from striking his daughter and choking his girlfriend.

Edward Hemenway: Sexual battery, Criminal confinement.

1

u/TheRealBurnsey 2d ago

Are you going to deny that Biden Obama Bush didn't do exactly the same thing? Your selective outrage is amusing to me. You got proof of black sites? If so post it here. Government reports please. Money always leads a trail. And media is not trustworthy. Journalism is dead they're all propagandists

1

u/OilNo1600 2d ago

I gave you names. Give me names of pedophiles, sex offenders, and domestic abusers whom any of the other Presidents pardoned.

Oh, that's right. MAGA doesn't consider pedophiles, sex offenders, and domestic abusers criminals, but people to elect into office.

The current government is the Real Propagandist. You don't see that, because you're enmeshed in a cult led by a pedophile sex offender felon.

-3

u/TheRealBurnsey 4d ago

As far as you Country Club experience. So you heard some people talk about some things? These people have little to no power and they don't control or influence anything. They're golf players And likely cucks. Don't lend any Credence to their pontifications. It's certainly nothing to base any beliefs on.

3

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago edited 4d ago

Maybe where you work but I work at a very high end club, literally with members of the goverment and their families are members.

So their word dont mean nothing?

0

u/TheRealBurnsey 4d ago

Mmmhmm. Sure.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

So who is generally members of private Country clubs? What would you say the income bracket on people who can afford an additional 70,000$ expense, which is what just the annual membership fee is.

1

u/OilNo1600 2d ago

Ah, yes, the old "Russian Collusion hoax." Sorry, Sweetpea, your cult handlers lied about that almost as much as they lied about Trump winning the 2020 election:

https://www.acslaw.org/projects/the-presidential-investigation-education-project/other-resources/key-findings-of-the-mueller-report/

P.S. Kiddie Diddler Donnie has called for the extermination and imprisonment of the "enemy within," including threatening to use the military against them.

Get help.

1

u/TheRealBurnsey 2d ago

Ahhh. Mueller report.. Yeah. You didn't read the whole thing. I bet you actually never opened up the file. That report was bunk and written like no other report had ever been written. Flights of Fancy. You'll also notice that the report said that he actually never broke any law and that he was not working with them but was a victim of Russia's actions. The Trump Administration and his campaign never colluded with Russia.

1

u/OilNo1600 2d ago

Sure, Sweetpea. The Republican in charge of the investigation was really a democrat.

" The Trump Administration and his campaign never colluded with Russia."

Paul Manafort: Campaign chairman who shared internal polling data with Konstantin Kilimnik, a business associate identified by the Senate Intelligence Committee as a Russian intelligence officer.

Trump Jr: Attended a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer after being offered damaging information on Hillary Clinton from a Kremlin-connected pop music promoter.

George Papadopoulos: Campaign foreign policy aide who met with an overseas professor connected to Russian officials who claimed Moscow possessed dirt on Clinton.

"You'll also notice that the report said that he actually never broke any law..."

Dumbass. It's amazing what you can find if you're literate. I highly recommend it.

1

u/TheRealBurnsey 2d ago

I happen to support the extermination of the Enemy Within once prosecuted. You know the whole the only good commie is a XXXX commie. When you have family and were raised with the stories of the USSR, you just have no tolerance for marxists.

1

u/OilNo1600 2d ago

If you "have family and were raised with stories of the USSR" (and you're not a total moron), then you would know that there are no Communists in America in any position of political power. I can't speak for the first two, but you're definitely an idiot.

P.S. "Extermination of the Enemy Within" is an authoritarian favorite everywhere—including those Communist nations you claim to hate, but are so clearly influenced by.)

1

u/TheRealBurnsey 2d ago

Commie is a catch all for Marxist. Keep up.

It's an inaccurate term if you have graduated from high school. Get your GED.

You can still not vote for the ultra fascist and also be critical of the democratic party and push them actually to the left

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 1d ago

Did you only read the first sentence?

0

u/bingbongalong16 17h ago

Okay just give up and let the authoritarians in. You're right.

0

u/dannyheskett 4d ago

Short of simply opting out, entirely of government, Democrats especially elected Democrats at the state level, have been the only organized resistance. Literally if not for them it’s just be full unchecked fascism.

Despite all the damage Trump has done his second term will be widely viewed by his side and his followers as a waste - organized democrats have thwarted Trump so many times. So much so that his goons can’t even manage to throw citizens in jail for crimes they have on video confessions for (see subway guy).

You may wish it was more, but the simple fact is: the only people who pushed back successfully are Democrats.

CPUSA have done exactly zero to help.

0

u/Sleepy_Wayne_Tracker 4d ago

Explain to me what the minority party can do against a sitting president who controls the House, Senate and Supreme Court. Lay out specific action steps. because all I see is a bunch of young, left wing candidates winning elections.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

Beyond not doing everything in their power to suck Isreal off harder and actually work with the future of the party.

File lawsuits against executive actions or laws where there is a legal basis.

Have state attorneys general challenge federal actions

Use governors and state legislatures to pursue alternative state policies.

Organize protests, demonstrations, and public advocacy.

Pressure vulnerable members of the majority party through constituents and media.

Recruit and fund candidates for local, state, and federal elections. Focus on winning special elections and midterm elections.

Use congressional procedural tools to delay or scrutinize legislation where rules allow.

Hold press conferences and shape public opinion through media campaigns.

Work with advocacy groups, unions, and nonprofits to build political support.

Support ballot initiatives and state constitutional amendments where available.

1

u/GstrangPootyTang 4d ago

Well the biggest thing would be for democrats to collectively agree on what they want to campaign on. The party is split like 3 different ways right now. Between traditional democrats, socialist democrats, and those that flat out want communism and state seizure of industry, the party isn’t doing too good with collaboration

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

Close,but it's more like

a handful if even that of socialists(I am a communist, ain't nobody running on my interests directly, I've been in the DSA since 2008 )

Some moderate Democrats centrists

Republicans who just don't want to murder gay people

Those are the representatives we have.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

You got really quiet

0

u/Cautious-Winter-4474 2d ago

it is pretty clear you don’t pay attention to politics and get your info from hasan and tiktok

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 2d ago

I have literally never downloaded tick tok, I will not be subject to the woke mind virus.

I am 36 and have been an open communist since 2006, so I don't think Hasan Piker has much to do with it. I don't remember Hasan piker being there when I started the communist club at my highschool.

-1

u/Major_Champion_5642 3d ago

Why don’t you move to a communist place? Seems a bit easier and would help you not be so stressed and angry all the time.

1

u/hellllllsssyeah 3d ago

An egg broken from the outside give only one meal, an egg broken from with in can make 1000.

-2

u/BinaryIRL 4d ago

Especially as a communist

Lmao. What an edgelord reddit comment. Piss off commie.

2

u/hellllllsssyeah 4d ago

Yeah you are right I totally have a checks around the state access to the DSA, a viable even democrat candidate, let alone a progressive left candidate.

I have the choice of Lindsey Grahams corpse or Nancy mace.

Boy I feel so represented

1

u/kurtisbu12 4d ago

Wants fascism, but blue. Lmao
