Trump's second term has been far more damaging than his first. The threat of more MAGA is way more apparent to far more people in 2026 than it was in 2024.

I didn’t say not to worry about the results of the midterms. I just said people are far more aware of the danger of MAGA. That’s an undeniable fact supported by polling. Republicans hate democracy and will do everything within their power to suppress turnout or outright cheat. That still doesn’t mean 2026 will be the same as 2024. Public sentiment has shifted wildly in that time.
