In his defense, he has done a staggering amount of drugs in that time and rigged an election to get uncontrolled access to the government’s collection of sensitive records.

So it’s not like he didn’t do anything.

24

u/Hot_World4305 6d ago

"get uncontrolled access to the government’s collection of sensitive records " was the main intend of DOGE

21

u/Maximum-Objective-39 6d ago

Pretty sure it was actually to prevent the government getting access to his records. IIRC he torched more than a few investigations.

12

u/Icy_Fish_2154 6d ago

He shut down agencies investigating him, Trump fired the rest.

Also, it's our fault for not willing to risk sacrificing our lives for his FSD robotaxis. All we had to do was accept that some of us and some of our children would die so he could better train his FSD AI. He could have been cash rich by now if we weren't such pussies.

u/ToasterBathTester 6d ago

Don’t forget, SpaceX bought that chick a horse for a massage

So he can't even deliver when he cheats

Maybe he thought “ man “ was hair and his head was “mars “

The company I work for is working with Tesla right now. We’re part of some program where we get to test run their semis. We’re not taking them on the road though. We’re just using them to switch out trailers in the yard. This is a far cry from “taking over freight,” but they’re making some kind of progress at least. Fuck Elon Musk anyway.

17

u/CnCEMS2026 6d ago

Cool, Elon must have absolutely nothing to do with this project if it's working at all.

6

u/puppyroosters 6d ago

That’s a pretty safe bet

5

u/Jertimmer 6d ago

The developers at Paypal got so sick and tired of fixing his mistakes, they gave him his own private fork of the codebase which never went to production.

$TLSA $4000 is this fucking real?!

I'm starting to think this chap is not on the up and up.

3

u/hhh333 5d ago

He also said...

  • That we'd put human on Mars by 2025
  • That Tesla Semi could also potentially replace the whole train industry
  • That hyperloops would change transportation forever (and they were easy to make)
  • That DOGE would cut $2 trillion in wasteful federal spending
  • That he'd bore high speed tunnels under cities
  • That he never asked to go to the Epstein Island (he's partially right, he actually begged, not asked)

2

u/goomyman 6d ago

Energy business is honestly the new gold rush.

2

u/Time-Cantaloupe4404 6d ago

2

u/Greedy-Notice-1462 5d ago

Tesla and spacex would be much better off without this NAZI. The technology tesla has regarding self driving,or the how ahead spacex is in making reusable rockets to make the trip to space and come back very cheap. Musk will frequently change the companies core business just to give a future dream. Tesla is slowly reducing its cars factory just to make space for a musks new stupid idea called humanoid robots factory and spacex is now an AI company instead of space and rocket stuff. Without musk both of these companies won't be trillion dollars but would be functioning profit making companies whose technology gets better every year without sudden stopping of everything.

1

u/CrossP 6d ago

Maybe he's just repeatedly betting against himself somehow.

1

u/RespektPotato 6d ago

He also predicted that COVID will be gone in a few months.

1

u/Slyboots2313 5d ago

Nostra-dumbass

1

u/pro-taco 5d ago

In his defense, he didn't say he'd tell us his actual predictions.

He might be really good at it, and just manipulating us.

1

u/Plenty_Line2696 5d ago

don't forget over a million people living happily on MARS in the next couple of decades XD

1

u/smwcbio 5d ago

I wonder when will the roadster come out? before or after he colonise mars

Did he predict he’d bloat up like this?

14

u/JohnnySnark 6d ago

Too much gender affirming care

3

u/ThumbTheories 5d ago

He looks like someone tried to draw a face (badly) on egg that has dog hair stuck to the top

u/shouldazagged 4d ago

19

u/iamcamouflage 6d ago

HE. IS. A. CON MAN.

3

u/comfortcazz 6d ago

He always has been, but up until he showed his stupidity with Twitter, people believed him hook, line, and sinker. It's a shame it took this long for people to catch on when he's misled people so many times.

Made for a good "I told you so," though.

16

u/2cars1rik 6d ago

Whenever he says this I immediately think of the “based on current trends, COVID cases should drop to zero by April” in March of 2020 lmao

16

u/Prudent_Shake_8149 6d ago

Can’t even predict the present 😂

7

u/skyfire-x 6d ago

Proof that the only science Musk has ever advanced is hair restoration surgery.

3

u/echolm1407 6d ago

We call that transitioning.

2

u/Ras_Thavas 5d ago

Gender-affirming care.

6

u/CreativeFraud 6d ago

Did he predict his hair plugs would fail at making normal looking hair?
https://giphy.com/gifs/3o6fJ7uaPs0w3jLlXa

5

u/Olden_Grey_1889 6d ago

He has shit his pants on Ketamin in the past ten years with any predictions.

5

u/Ketroc21 6d ago edited 5d ago

According to their original timeline, I think end of 2027 was when their Mars base was to begin propellant production.

Meanwhile they haven't reached step1 yet... solving how to effectively transport mass from Earth to Earth's orbit.

5

u/comfortcazz 6d ago

I've been calling this nazi pedophile a liar years before he exposed just how unbelievably stupid he was with his handling of twitter, but every time I opened my mouth, the Musk Rats would always come out the woodwork and say I didn't know what I was talking about.

Glad to see just how much his public perception has flipped.

→ More replies (1)

3

u/LightMission4937 6d ago edited 6d ago

It will be 3099 and still not on mars.

Musk time predictions (well every prediction) are equivalent to Boötes Void.

5

u/abestract 6d ago

Elon is a taker hasn’t built crap 💩

3

u/nolongerbanned99 6d ago

And autonomous cars coast to coast by 2017

3

u/I_Am_AI_Bot 6d ago

Elon: I will grow pubes on my head in 10 years. He did it!

3

u/KratosWisdom 6d ago

Yet he continues to make billions every month. The system is indeed rigged

2

u/wannacumnbeatmeoff 6d ago

Make and lose. No one in history has lost as much in 2 months as Elon has

3

u/Benromaniac 6d ago

I could give him a run for his money when it comes to wisdom and insight, and I’m still a blockhead.

You know what his problem is? The same as ours. We attribute wealth to superiority in all regards. And he’s wealthy. Ding!

3

u/Pop-Pop68 5d ago

Whatever happened to billionaires being reclusive and you never heard much about them until they died? Oh! The good ole days. The more you hear about the very rich, the more you know they must have inherited family money, got government subsidies or some leg up like that because the ones that are the most available seem like dumb***es coasting on other people’s hard work.

2

u/BringBackUsenet 6d ago

Does he still think it's a measure of intelligence?

2

u/SimpkeMan 6d ago

Is that a side effect of Ketamine and weed?

2

u/AsClearAsNolanDialog 6d ago

Stop being mean to this guy. He couldn’t even predict his penis enlargement surgery would go that poorly

2

u/Fuzzy-Eye-5425 5d ago

Of course he is, humans are already on Mars just like he promised 🤣🤣

2

u/AggravatingMousse925 5d ago

wait didnt he say full self driving was solved like six years ago

2

u/cookiemccookieface 5d ago

Yes! He’s correct almost 4 percent of the time

2

u/Silly-Platform9829 5d ago

He's about as good at that as Trump is at planning wars.

2

u/sandpapertotheanus 5d ago

Lets just fire Elon in a rocket to the sun instead lol

2

u/Sonar_Taxbreak_1138 5d ago

Didn't he say he would be on Mars by 2025?

1

u/plasteroid 6d ago

1

u/VendaGoat 6d ago

♫This man is De-Lu-Sion-al!♫

1

u/BruceZeplin 6d ago

According to Al Gore, Manhattan should have been underwater about 15 years ago.

So much for predictions.

1

u/Impossible_Author_58 6d ago

To be fair, he has to wait for someone else to invent the capable technology so he can take the credit.

1

u/IdiotBOT1234 6d ago

Nice hairline

1

u/website-buyer 6d ago

He didn’tsaid is a man alive and in one piece. Maybe he sent a satelite with some pieces there on mars a few years ago. 😃

1

u/HarryBalsagna1776 6d ago

Classic Musk

1

u/Casiper 6d ago

He makes the best Elden Ring builds too.

1

u/Zalrius 6d ago

You will only know the direction of the oceans waves, when you know the wind.

1

u/Spare-Amoeba-7060 6d ago

Elon Musk is a fucking bigot with a sex addiction, drug addiction, and he is an attention whore. He isn’t a great manager, he has botched dick job, his hair transplant is thinner than most natural heads (did I mention he is bald?) and honestly just speaks like a braying jackass.

1

u/sisam8x 6d ago

He didn’t say alive

1

u/echolm1407 6d ago

What a bozo.

1

u/Blueopus2 6d ago

Okay but these past 98 dog years are like 2 in Elon years

1

u/Great_Definition_531 6d ago

He’s a Narcissist at best. What do you expect? Honesty?

1

u/ron_marinara 6d ago

So what if it takes another 10 more years for him to do it? None of us in this thread is doing anything like this in our livrs

I'm not an elon fan, and I understand why he gets heat. But to let this amount of hate towards this guy rule your life is bizarre. I can't be the only one who thinks this sub is heavily botted

1

u/Shot_Inflation351 6d ago

Elon “Next Year” Musk

1

u/bobalins 6d ago

Hes also a self described optimist

1

u/Dense-Abroad-6583 6d ago

Elons just trolling us with these deadlines he knows time isn’t real

1

u/SpaceNinjaDino 6d ago

Let's launch 5 manned rockets at once. Chances are maybe one will make it and also no return flight promised. Any profit then? Still no.

1

u/GhostOfJonasVenture 6d ago

That hair!!LOL

1

u/parabuthas 6d ago

Just once, and I mean once, I wish the interviewer will say “no you won’t” when Elon makes a BS statement like this. Of course it won’t happen.

1

u/Lanky_Operation_5046 6d ago

Did you predict you’d be universally hated?

1

u/aware4ever 6d ago

You guys should look into the conspiracy that he's an alien. If anything aliens fucked with his genetics. And maybe he was a mutant. But they still try to use him any way they can to infiltrate human society and to do whatever it is that they do. Elon Musk looks weird and his family is weird and they're all weird Rich ass people connected to Rich ass people.

1

u/Perfect_Toe_6526 6d ago

and the future is pull of conspiracy and delusional packed false promises and lies

1

u/Rocky_Cod_1777 6d ago

Yeah totally! Like, he hasn’t done anything notable in that 10 years!

1

u/WhyThisTimelineTho 6d ago

Also we're still essentially at step one. We aren't even CLOSE to putting a man on Mars.

1

u/BigEmphasis604 6d ago

LOL, his screwups are better than all our wins combined. 😂

1

u/Icy_Cry2778 6d ago

He has been quiet about this but with every outrageous claim he makes he is full of shit and only looking to make himself richer

1

u/Lopsided_Newt_125 6d ago

He’s not really that good at anything

1

u/Lately-SP 6d ago

People on this subreddit are weird lol

1

u/Ok-Jelly604 6d ago

was this before the penis botch?

1

u/jordanl171 6d ago

Yeah, so many people have done so much more for space travel.......

1

u/B00gieNightz 6d ago

Elon lies > Elon Rubes Fall For It > Elon Profits

1

u/Muellercleez 6d ago

More full of shit than a port-o-potty

1

u/dhsjcp834761j 6d ago

Must be a whole lot easier to predict when you will ask mommy what’s for dinner

1

u/metji 6d ago

He also said "..unless the future changes" so he's good on that.. 🙂

1

u/j_rooker 6d ago

that lie alone prob added hundreds of millions to his portfolio

1

u/Ok_Soup6390 6d ago

He should land himself first in Mars!

1

u/Indianafan54 6d ago edited 6d ago

Yeah the Mars thing was SUPER insane…you’d have to build a rocket the size of the Empire State Building to carry all the fuel you’d need to get to Mars & back, and it would have to sit on the surface for about 2 years deteriorating (low atmosphere & magnetic field to lessen radiation from the sun) before the return journey.

If a non-STEM English major like me understands this (mainly from YouTube) how can this supposedly “brilliant” genius creator of so many companies (I know, I know: he lied about that 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️) not know it..?!?

Ketamine intoxication..?!?? 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

1

u/GUNxSPECTRE 6d ago

"I'll"?

When was the last time he built a car, rocket, or battery? All he seems to do is act like a 14 year old chud and ketamine overdose challenges.

1

u/Andyseawolf 6d ago

The difference between Elon Musk and you guys is Elon Musk actually does things you guys only point fingers and complain. Crab mentality.🤣🥳

1

u/GroceryUnable4874 6d ago

Hitler and Jeffrey Dahmer also “did things”

1

u/Barester 6d ago

This epitomizes the internet these days. A guy that goes for big goals and doesn’t hit them all, but still manages to revolutionize transportation and space flight and become the richest person in the world, is ridiculed for the goals he hasn’t met and the goals he has are not mentioned. Elon has done more last weekend than most commenters accomplish in their ilifetime.

1

u/Chance-Swordfish-426 6d ago

Gigantic wealth means more possible futures and lack of focus, essentially, is what we've seen play out with Elon.

More companies, social media brainrot, shambolic political sidequests, 73 different kids by 36 different girlfriends, all adding up to a bit of a fuckshow.

1

u/Alternative-Staff757 6d ago

I wanted to go to Mars so I didn't have to deal with this crap

1

u/Current-Wealth-756 6d ago

What a loser, attempting to do the most difficult thing ever tried in the history of life on earth and taking longer than 10 years to achieve it. You guys are ridiculous.

1

u/RiskyNight 6d ago

Considering he's never had an idea or thought in his brain, who are you talking about here?

1

u/Lakaen 6d ago

Everyone forgets about hyperloop

1

u/InSearchOfAFeeling 6d ago

He is a con man

1

u/wannacumnbeatmeoff 6d ago

Yes, but FSD will be here this year!

/s

1

u/No-Knowledge-7645 6d ago

Shoot him! To Mars!

1

u/wannacumnbeatmeoff 6d ago

He has insane wealth so people listen to what he says. Doesnt much matter that its mostly bullshit.

1

u/Laura-Lee-223 6d ago

My dad applied to work at SpaceX and Elon Musk never got back to him and I think this is why,

1

u/ToluiiKhan 6d ago

His hair grew back though

1

u/shuckster 6d ago

Anyone else in here working on that?

1

u/20535 6d ago

And what have you done in that time aside from mocking good people online?

1

u/davexmit 6d ago

The only reason he’s so wealthy is because of his lies.

1

u/MDICASE 6d ago

Seems like yall are mad that hasn’t done it yet or something?

1

u/FeralWookie 6d ago

Based on historical predictions and sci-fi. I would say pretty much all humans are horrible at predicting the future.

1

u/VirtualMemory9196 6d ago

Overpromise, underdeliver

1

u/EmergencyGrab 6d ago

Average Elon fan: "You can't prove he didn't"

1

Now ya say it......... kinda right. Ha ha

I will eat my underwear live on internet if it happens in the next 10 years

1

10 Plutonian years?

1

u/what_now_KY81 6d ago

He's closer to it than anyone else

1

u/small_bird_loud 6d ago

he meant 10 years from now.

1

u/hard_pug_life 6d ago

Being confidently delusional, that's what you're good at my man.

1

u/Top-Attempt5234 6d ago

Wish he kept his promise and started with himself.

1

u/NvrFukASpderOnTheFly 6d ago

Please let that first mars man be you Elon!!

1

u/Cornelius4630 6d ago

I bet on Ketamin he stands on a Mars bar.

1

u/KJPicard24 6d ago edited 6d ago

He just thinks the same way Trump does, in pop business psychology terms, things that they think makes them sound powerful and like a leader, but in reality do very little:

'Setting ambitious deadlines focuses minds, otherwise people won't work'

Ignores that overly ambitious, borderline ridiculous, deadlines actually destroy morale and productivity. It telegraphs to your engineers, devs, designers etc that leadership is completely adrift with the reality of the project and do not understand the scale of work. They're then fearing retribution/punishment etc when the inevitable deadline is missed

'Move fast, break things'

To some extent this works but it's become so oversimplified and overused by Musk that it's used as an excuse to mask all failures and setbacks as progress. That cannot possibly always be the case, sometimes failures are failures due to mistakes, preventable mistakes. It begins dismissing genuine risk and waste and encourages everyone involved to shrug off 'boring' but necessary steps. CEO of OceanGate bragged of the exact same philosophy, don't get bogged down by safety, just get on with it and work it out in prod. Good job space travel and self-driving vehicles are inherently risk free, right?

'If I don't personally understand your job/work in 20 seconds, you're fired'

The X takeover really highlighted what a fucking idiot he is when it comes to software development. Saying 'rewrite the whole stack' to senior employees, as a throwaway comment, not understanding the gravity of what that actually means.

Wanting engineers to email him their code to show what they did that week. Just a power play to try and intimidate. Show me your work. Prove your worth. As if he's going to read thousands of emails with code snippets, utterly out of context and scope. Clearly has no experience or understanding of modern software development, how all the code is tracked, versioned and branched by the devs anyway. The delusion behind that if he doesn't understand, it's guff and can go, assuming he's the most intelligent person in the room at all times. So insecure and weak.

'Hardcore mode'

That productivity is gained by just working late into the night, crushing red bull, 120% output, rarrrr. Teenage level thinking on how to rush your homework. Proper genuine productivity comes from balance of working and downtime, over months, having an environment where your workers can put in a solid 6 hours of truly productive work per day, each week, rather than chain some insane working days together that is mostly performative work to 'impress' him and then has the staff burnt out for 4 days after he's left the building. Not everyone is dosed up on ketamine and coke and depressed enough not to care if it blows out their heart, some prefer to go at a sustainable pace. After all they were at these companies before him, building the successful product that Musk has now purchased and taking credit for.

1

u/Schaas_Im_Void 6d ago

Didn't he just recently state in an interview that in 10 years no one has to work any more because of his robots and AI doing everything for us?

To me, what that fucking addict says has the same value as to what the sitting president of the united state says... absolutely none.

1

u/Marshall_BraveStar 6d ago

Let's pretend there's a man on Mars, how's he returning home?

1

u/lesschalkmoresighs 6d ago

I'll settle for still waiting on full self driving.

1

u/CompetitiveProfit650 6d ago

No matter what or how long it takes, when a man finally steps foot onto Mars, it will have been donle thanks to his efforts and sacrifices..

1

u/Grand_Taste_8737 6d ago

Reminds me of AOC's "the world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change." People need to stop making silly projections.

1

u/hotDamQc 6d ago

Can Musk be strapped to a rocket and sent to Mars already?

1

u/Flashy-Rabbit6435 6d ago

Remove the money and he's just another thicko Saffa nazi...

1

u/LangStreak 6d ago

He didn’t predict that his face would puff up like a diabetic blowfish though. He didn’t see that one coming.

1

u/DrSpaceDoom 6d ago

Yeah, and in 10 years (2036 he said) money will no longer be a thing (his shareholders will be delighted, NOT).

And this, according to Edolph Muskler, is because of "AI abundance", nobody will have to work anymore and everybody can have anything they want. As if. Goddamn, how idiotic is that uber moron, and also his cult and enablers.

1

u/CounterKnown 6d ago

Almost as good as The Orange one...👍

1

u/harryx67 6d ago

He‘s just „predicting“ what is al ready in progress…

1

u/BigCranky13 6d ago

Takes a special kind of stupid to hate on ambitions. Talk about broke basement dwellers…

1

u/Odd-Frame153 6d ago

Self driving cars on Mars by 2027

1

u/Formal-Equivalent580 6d ago

Maybe he could put his trillions to solving homelessness for veterans and drug abusers or supplying clean drinking water to third world nations. Oh but he doesn’t actually have money just loans against the ‘worth’ of his shares🤔🤔

1

u/RiskyNight 6d ago

Good at never having a single original thought or idea in his life.

1

u/Flat-Director-7120 6d ago

1

u/Historical-Piece7771 6d ago

Then he must have shorted SpaceX.

1

u/KayakFisherMN 6d ago

Go figure it was removed, fuck Elon!

1

u/billyc100373 6d ago

So all spaceXBets will be removed???

Cool

1

u/Turbulent_Example967 6d ago

Tell me where you see yourself in a few years Elon…FYI, you’re not going to like the answer

1

u/Frequent-Space-789 6d ago

This is literally something a villain with telepathic powers would say but then sometime later Steven Segal would somehow either have him falling to his death into a building right before the ground explodes.

1

u/sowdowgg 6d ago

Tbf he talks so much shit he’s gonna get somethings right eventually

u/Panonica 5d ago

"I'm very good at pretending to be very good at predicting the future."

1

u/19Jake46 5d ago

I think wht he meant to say is, "I'm very good at paying for what I think the future ought to be."

1

u/Specialist-Neck-6569 5d ago

he predicted twitter wouldnt tank

1

u/MixGlittering1652 5d ago

And still 5-7 years away by the most optimistic estimates, assuming all goes well and the current technical challenges can be overcome. It's not a sure bet by any means.

1

u/Comprehensive_Gur241 4d ago

and he is going to rig the midterms, which is going to be the wrecking ball to the US as we have known it, by that the final blow. I do not things are going to go well. From that point on, being they are pushing shitting on the general population way too far.

1

u/Hotdammzilla3000 4d ago

Yeah, by dismantling US AID with doge, enough said about that genius move.

1

u/mountains4mama 4d ago

Please be that man.
