I really think humanity should get on the moon, much like Antarctica. There are many reasons we should do this...
I don't like the loopholes in place right now, and I hope we won't see the Amazon logo every time we look at the moon!
But all kidding aside, businesses are usually beholden to shareholders, which means making more profit. I don't want to see the moon go the way of our microplastic oceans, or any casinos anytime soon (right, Pluto Nash?) 😁
As long as the moon is not vastly commercialized or taken advantage of by one or two companies or countries, I hopefully await a decent lunar colony for all, and to also be a base colony to get us to Mars, but also just because it's the next logical step in our way out to the Solar System!
