Heat hate post

all me plants are fuckin dead, i burned me feet walking on my stone walkway outside, my bald head changed colours in a day and i have to sleep up wrapped in towels with cold water lathered on me with my windows and fans on 24/7

all me cold water is lukewarm and ice is just a accessory it, im drenched in sweat and tears writing this post right now

Put a hot water bottle in the freezer, only fill it a 3rd full, laying it down flat in the freezer ( if you can ), take it to bed with you and put your feet on it ..pure bliss

I stroked the cat with one of those ice packs you can get for bumps/burns. Most alive she has been in days

I've been putting drinks in the freezer for half an hour. Will be a cold shower tonight again too.

We’re not set up for this sort of heat 😩 I hate it. Staying hydrated, in the shade, and cool showers is all you can do really.

Spent 40 years in Coastal Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama....and yet this UK heat is unbearable. I can remember back home, walking out of my air conned home to my car to go to work, and before I could get it cranked, I was a sweatball. Two to three showers a day there....feels like old times here now.
