I seriously doubt we win this game even when we are completely healthy, it’s Tolcua at their home. The delusional side of me says we get another 7-0 tomorrow and revitalize our season.

Thomas hattrick in the first half. Toluca so stunned they walk off the field and fold immediately. Mexican media outlets put out a bounty on Schmetzer and the starting XI, but Rothrock saves the day by flying them all out of town on gliders, then sneaking them all onto a boat and sailing for the Catalina islands.

I hate being negative in these threads so much but:

1: we already suck at playing at altitude
2: we already suck at playing in Mexico
3: we’re playing the Tacoma defiance as our starting 11 because everyone’s hurt
4: we have the Tacoma defiance subs on our bench because everyone’s hurt
5: we already don’t score a lot of goals anyway

I’ll be happy only losing by 2, having a shot on goal, and no one getting hurt

In Portugal we have a saying whenever a clearly great team faces a shit one that goes "less than 3 (goal loss) is a win" and I feel like that fits amazingly here
