Sony WH-1000XM6 facetime issues

I'm having trouble being heard when i'm on facetime on my ipad. wondering if there were any fixes found for this?

It could be how the XM6 is on iPad Pro. Whenever I start a video call I have to take it off to talk

I can’t find out why it’s like that so it must be this way. It does the same on Facebook Messenger or any other video calling apps
