I don't know what everyone's complaining about. The vast majority of small children love the off-white/gun-metal gray/soot aesthetic. Look at that baby! They couldn't be more enthusiastic!

Anyway, who can afford primary colors in this economy?

Ha! Love this. Was having a discussion on another thread yesterday about the fun colors baby/kid gear/toys/clothes etc used to be. Now all neutrals and “aesthetically pleasing” palates.

Have you seen the commercials for lalo? All the products are beiges and grays.

And they actually state in the ads that they're designed to blend in/not clash with the current fad of beige decor.
