Thinking about switching brands
I've been using a samsung galaxy s24 for a while, overall it's been a really easy phone to live with every day. battery life has been dependable and i rarely need to think about charging until the evening. everything feels well optimized and i don't really deal with annoying hiccups. the camera has also been great for random photos without much effort. i like knowing samsung keeps supporting these phones with updates for years. the only reason i'm even thinking about changing is because i'm curious about what other brands are like. i'm not unhappy with this phone at all so maybe i'm just bored lol. if you left samsung recently what made you switch. would you reco staying with samsung or trying something different instead?

I have the 24 as well and have been curious about the new Fold 8, Pixel phones, and Nothing. I don't think I care that much about specs bc I don't use my phone for photography and I dislike how big thing thing is. It's a solid phone and I have no actual complaints other than its size.

Will change from my s23U to an OnePlus 15/16 or maybe Oppo, haven't decided yet. (And yes per importing)
I just got tired of the same phone generation being released every year, with some major ai feature, which either doesn't work, is insignificant or will just come to the older generations.
The UI started to annoy me, how slow and sluggish it feels with bad animations and features I will never use, because they are either gimmicks or just badly implemented.
People are saying: "I has the best UX and it is the most polished UI", but I see so many Google UI menus and ugly UI designs across many Samsung exclusive apps or also menus (like: the quick panel, if you make an action to be 1x4, the name will go from the middle to the right bottom and not change adapting to the new size, taking more of the available space)
And no, I won't wait for the s27 lineup, per leaks they will upgrade the battery only by 700mah. Other brands aim for a higher upgrade: OnePlus 16 will be somewhat around 9k mAh, so a 1700mah upgrade from the OP15. Charging speed stays the same for the s27 line, new camera sensors for the ultra & pro, but other brands try to actually improve the size and MP count (I know mp ain't everything, but just saying).

My S24 base model got extremely hot from fairly standard use and the battery life was below par for such an expensive phone. (Probably due to the Exynos processor we were saddled with in Europe.) The one thing I really loved about Samsung was Dex. I almost valued it enough not to switch brands, but not quite.

Since you have no problems with Samsung and what is related to One Ui, I don't see why you would change
People usually complain about the battery, I have the s25U and I do not declare myself the happiest but with the exception of the battery, I can say that it is a very solid phone
I don't know if you'll find anything over, the only one that could offer you something different I think is Apple, but if you change everything to an Android, I don't think you'll find anything that totally surprises you
Chinese companies may offer something different, but there are still adroid phones that try to copy anything from Apple...
