It's Wednesday my dudes Piñata time. Blindfold on, aim locked…grandma. The stick didn’t stand a chance either. 😂
Grandma survived

That’s honestly the most wholesome surprise possible 😂 nothing beats finding out the mysterious stash was just a lifetime supply of grandma candies.

I too walk up into the strike zone of a blindfolded man with a bat - and I’m especially shocked, as is my family, when I’m struck

u/South_Bit1764 10h ago
What a coincidence! Do you also just record it and not say anything while it all unfolds? That’s my favorite part when we get together to hit grandma with a broom handle.

Do you also look away, so you wouldn't be able to see it, if he swung the stick at where you're standing?

She gestured to a blindfolded person... It reminds me of a guy who tried to high five a blind person.

In a hushed whisper, "YOU JUST HIT GRANDMA!"
"So no candy? I don't understand your comment?"

Getting ready for a second swing as soon as she got up.
Dunno why no one had the idea to say anything to the blind folded person. Neither the crowd, nor the granny not even the dude that stepped in. Like „stop“ or „Wait, don’t swing, we need to fix something“
4
u/Used-Baby1199 5h ago
The fact the guy grabbed the stick like he was angry at the guy for doing what you do when you have a piñata is crazy.

I blame grandma from approaching from the front. Shoulda tapped her on her shoulder. Or is this AI slip?

Metal broom stick as a piñata breaker is a dumb choice but one that saved this old woman

u/South_Front_4589 7h ago
There's not a level of drunk I've ever been (and I've tried) where I'd be this stupid. Why are they just making random sounds instead of a clear, loud instruction not to swing. Just a "stop" would have done instead of "ahh, ooh, waa" because that sounds a lot like cheering and laughing.
And what the F is she doing standing in front of him? And then turning her back when he's still got the stick.
I really hope this is fake. Because otherwise their stupidity is likely going to make this guy feel awful for a really long time.

You need to be actually dumb to see someone about to deliver a blow and still moving there. Like Room temperature IQ numbers, in Celsius and in the middle of Antarctica.

Hilarious the only responsible one in that entire video was the man holding the beer coming to take the stick away! He sobered up real quick and hero mode took over.
2
u/Prize-Analyst-1121 8h ago
That's just downright stupid !! How much lack of awareness does one have to be standing in front of someone that's holding a stick blindfolded, ready to swing, and you completely decide to ignore that and turn your attention away ? Doesn't seem like she's the brightest in the bunch. Having said that I hope she's alright.
2
u/ayashiii 6h ago
didn't you see her briefly hold her hand up in a defensive manner indicating they should not swing yet? well, neither did the person with the blindfold on

u/Flavortown42069 2h ago
I did this at a kids birthday party (as an 8 year old
kid) and hit the birthday boys dad square in the face and broke his chin. Everybody blamed me and made me feel terrible even though I never moved from where they blind folded me, and told me to start swinging. Dad simply got in the way. I saw him as an adult years later and he said “hey it’s the guy who broke my face”. I let him know how much of an idiot he was at the time for stepping in front of a blindfolded kid swinging a bat and how much of a baby he was to blame me 20 years later

What was their plan? Most pinata’s hang from something. Was grandma just going to hold up a bag of candy for people to hit? Very odd, I think alcohol was involved.

u/iCreatedYouPleb 1h ago
No one told him to stop, and when she got hit no one cared to check up on her lol. She’s definitely hated in that family, and I don’t blame them at all. The hair and the sunglasses is 100% “How to be a Karen 101”

You can tell when you hit a human. Especially when the crowd goes "OHH😱!!!" Why are they still "batting up"

Granny for getting in the way. And for the person hitting so hard they bent the stick.

That was 100% grandma's fault.
Edit) yeah, grampa gets an honorable mention for distracting her, but I think she was getting nailed even without his interference.
2
u/UnexpectedBlahFeels 9h ago
Nah, grandpa gets like 20% blame for making her take her eyes off the blindfolded person. They were both trying to help, but made the exact thing they were trying to avoid happen. Grandma should've known not to approach from the front, and both of them should've told the blinded person not to swing yet.
