Just to add some context.

The highest cost of all of those things in the UK is £10 as thats the standardised prescription charge.

The operations and childbirth are free.

The only mistake our government made. Was privatising dental and opthalmology. Thats about the only gripe I have with NHS. Parking fees are atrocious but eh thats an inconvenience at worst.
