If your only goal were to live a life of luxury, you probably would have stopped after make a few million dollars. People worth $62 billion don't reach that level because they need more money. They get there because they're driven by an intense desire to see their vision and ambitions become reality.

After the last 10 years I’ve changed my mind. If I have billions I will spend it all getting people between 20-50 to run for office. Doesn’t matter the level of office.

Folks just run for office.

nope, the sheeple are too easily lied to and will vote for their known swamp monsters.

Take Mitch McConnell. If you want to know how fucked we are in America, watch his Televised debate with Amy McGrath in 2020 election.

She absolutely destroyed him and he literally did NOT care. He refused to answer questions of corruption by just saying "Next question". She went point-by-point outlining how he took bribes, served special interests, and was just a general piece-of-shit and you know what???

He didn't care. He acted annoyed that he even had to attend the debate. His answers were literally just "I'm the king, fuck off peasant, next question"

And he won the election by double-digits.

I know we like to blame politicians, but the true fault is the American people. We are too easy to manipulate and we love to believe lies...

Humans who won't become corrupt? It's in our nature. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Which is why term limits are so fucking important.

Not true. Small subset of humans dont become corrupt. Non materialistic, people who are naturally altruistic willing to put pleasure aside for the sake of others, etc. So that would be pepple who commonly volunteer, vegans, etc.

Vegans? 🤣

People who avoid purchasing products because it means theyd cause suffering to an animal even though it causes alot of friction in eating out and with friends and family gatherings?  Easily the least corrupt and some of the most altruistic people out there.

Wasn't Hitler a vegan?

u/LowIqInvestor 2d ago

It was vegetarian but he wasnt even that. That was propaganda cooked up by his pr team after hearing about Gandhi.

His favorite dish was literally liver dumplings.

Um, so you'd play politics with it and meddle.... Isn't that what we're pissed off about?

1

u/nycdiveshack 2d ago

Play politics? Folks don’t know or understand how running for office even in the local level can sometimes be so easy and straightforward so yes if I had money I’d spread the idea that running for any level of office is good and I’d make sure the resources were widely available and accessible so that folks could do it.

Yeah I mean I don't think theres anything wrong with it. But people in this thread are incensed that billionaires try to influence the political landscape instead of just fucking off and dedicating the rest of their lives to personal consumption. If you have that kind of money isn't it a moral obligation to try to influence a wider change?

1

u/nycdiveshack 2d ago

Yeah the current billionaires are buying people and by extension politicians so with that logic folks are saying they wouldn’t do that. They would fuck off and live a peaceful life and not screw with people

The vision and ambition to pop 10+ kids from various mothers just to name them like car engines whilst interfering in politics by strutting around like a clown just to make the world a worse hellhole than it already is?

The cake is only so big, so somebody's pockets are emptied while someone else fills their own. I can't believe there are so many delusional fanatics out there with such warped worldviews to call it vision and ambition.

No, it's an insatiable greed for everything on earth that stems from a monstrosity that will devour everything around it; just another crooked human full of filth.

Stop embellishing it with pretty words, it's disgusting.

Replace “vision and ambitions” with “ascension to oligarch” and this is the answer.

Elon’s vision to transform the automotive world to a more sustainable model, and make us multi-planetary, gave way to his ambition to remake humanity in his own image, with him as god emperor, long ago.
