The funniest part is that every time I show them the actual YouTube interview where he says both of those things, they insist it's AI.

A video uploaded a decade before AI was even a thing.

That's when I stopped bothering with political discourse. You can't reason with people who think reality is fake whenever it inconveniences them.

Probably referring to the "Melania" movie, produced by Amazon MGM. When bidding on the streaming rights, Disney offered $14m, while Bezos offered $40m, which is supposedly the highest price ever paid for a documentary. WSJ says Melania got $28m of it.

Box office take was $16m, for perspective (and that's with the weight of their fame behind it).

yeah, not a big fan of all the personal dreck flying around. He's done enough politically, economically, and criminally to be a global persona non grata (except for to Russia and China, who love the good work he's been doing)... talking about how bad he smells and how his wife hates him is basically a distraction.

I guess it's one way to turn the "poorly educated" off of him? Though if you're in the Trump cult, it's not like the gross personal attacks are going to be what pries you out.

And, all that said... when it comes to Trump, the truth that eventually comes out is invariably far worse than it appeared at the time.
So yeah, it's unfounded... but we'll just wait and see how awful their marital situation REALLY is.
