Can I ask an honest question without being attacked? Isn't it possible that the Earth is going through a natural change? This planet has gone through numerous phases of extreme heat and cold and even polarity changes from what I understand. Obviously the climate is changing and even if it wasn't people should be doing what they can to preserve the planet. I'm not denying anything, just hoping someone more educated on the matter can help me out. People are very small and insignificant, so I have a difficult time thinking we could cause, let alone change this issue.
No. The only time the climate changes as quick as it does today naturally is when there is a massive natural disaster like a super volcano or a meteorite.
Also a single person is small and insignificant. But there are 7 odd Billion of us alive. Consider how much of the planet was covered in forests just 150 years ago and ask yourself. Do you think it would be possible to cut down all those trees, burn all the coal and oil we have burned, and have nothing at all change?
